My sister just sent me an interesting link: Chinese Birth Chart. Seems that this chart was lost for over 700 years, but now here it is! Ok, maybe that's a lot of hokum, but if you'll find my age when I will have the baby, which will be 32, and you find the month when the baby was conceived *blush* which is August, you'll see that the two lines intersect at FEMALE. That would be very cool. It would make far more economic sense for it to be a little boy, because he could wear all of Izzy's and Noah's (my 7 month old nephew) clothes, but I would love to have a little girl. Especially is she had dark hair and eyes. *SIGH*
When I was pregnant with Izzy I had a dream in which I had the baby and I saw that it was a boy. "A boy!" I said incredulously to my mom in the dream, "I can't believe I had a stinkin'' boy!" It was a funny dream, but I did ask the ultrasound technician every time to verify that it was, indeed, a little boy. Now that I have a son, I LOVE little boys. I think they may even be a little more awesome than girls, but don't tell my niece I said that. But I would love to play dress-up with a little girl. Izzy is already going to kill me when he grows up and sees some of the pics of the clothes I've put him in. It's like having a big giant, walking talking baby doll. One that really eats and goes potty!!
Earlier today I was putting mine and Chris's ages down on a board for May 05 mommies, and I couldn't remember how old Chris was. "Since I'm turning 33 next week," I thought to myself, "Chris has to be 29, since there is 3 1/2 years between us. But I swear I think he's 28." So I called him. "How old are you darling?"
"Twenty-nine," he says, laughing at me. "But that can't be possible," I tell him. "Because I'm turning 33 next week and that would make there 4 1/2 years between us."
"You idiot! You're turning 32 next week."
I won't hear the end of this one for a very long time.

Baby boys rule! (If I do say so myself.) Although I have seen some pretty cute little girls out there. My Mom and her Mom were convinced I was going to be a girl until the ultrasound. My Mom actually said, "Are you sure?"
BTW, happy birthday!
OK. Enough of the silly stuff. Christy here. Crystal told me you're already getting some of the morning sickness, which I, too, have heard means you're having a healthy baby! I think Wendy's restaurants are totally a pregnant woman's best friend. Besides the frostees, baked potatoes with just a bit of margarine and sour cream or even just plain were the best thing for my stomach. For a couple of weeks I was having one every other day. And they're cheap!
Okay so the chart was wrong with number one and right with number two. Evenone else I know it was right everytime. Can't wait to find out.
