Things I love about Izzy.

How he goes, "Bad, bad!" every time one of us turns on the garbage disposal. He's gotten in trouble for doing this himself.

How he makes an exaggerated peering over his nose, eyes open wide expression when he's looking at something you're eating, that he wants a bite of.

Spontaneous hugs and kisses. For the dogs too.

His delight in making others laugh. Today, his 7 year-old cousin, Maddie, came over and we were eating carrot sticks. Izzy put the carrot in his mouth and let it dangle out like a cigar and held his face completely blank. Maddie and I both cracked up. He saw our reaction, cracked up himself, took the carrot out and laid it on the table, clapped his hands, then picked it back up and did it all over again - did it about 10 more times. The kid is a riot.

How he'll try to give us his paci as a negotiating tool when he wants to get up out of bed at bedtime.

The way he comes down the hall to our room in the middle of the night, with one arm wrapped around his baby Snoopy doll, and the other hand rubbing his eyes.

The fact that he is a dandy. The kid loves to dress up, and wear bracelets, necklaces, hats, and purses.

How he gets that look of concentration and goes, "Mmmmm, mmmmm," shaking his head whenever he eats something he really likes.

Pretty much everything else, too.
