Leaking love.

One of the side effects of nursing that you don't hear a lot about is leaking every time you feel like your heart might explode with love.

Tonight my family had a dance party. I was chief instigator, when Good Vibrations came on the radio. I cranked it up and interrupted Chris and Izzy reading on the couch. "DANCE PARTY!!," I scream like a maniac as I dance around the room. Very nonchalantly, Izzy gets up and wanders across the room then breaks forth in joyous movement. We boogie and boogie.

Then I remember that babies develop a sense of rhythm by being in their mother's arms as they dance. So I grabbed Sophie and Chris jumped up and grabbed Izzy and away we went! You have never seen such white people moves as what was taking place in our living room tonight.

As I twirled around with Sophie in my arms, I looked at Chris swinging Izzy around madly, and I thought, "This is happiness." Chris said it was time to switch partners, and as he took Sophie from me I looked down.

Yep. I was leaking a little love.

How I can relate to leaking love. I have this wonderful experience almost every afternoon when I pick the boys up after work. Love does amazing and wonderful things to us all.
