My house is a wreck.

I've decided to speed things up selling this house by redecorating the kitchen. We spent the weekend tiling and painting, and I've still got to fix the wallpaper, spray-paint the swinging doors, and sand and re-varnish the top of the dishwasher. We can't afford new appliances and the ones we have now work great, so we're just fixing the ugly problems. The counter was that terrible metallic fleck plastic. Chris laid beautiful ivory tile, and he'll finish grouting it tomorrow after it cures. He's also going to spread aggregate on the ceiling, which is currently flat. I'm moving out our microwave pantry to make the space look bigger and I'm boxing up appliances and such to clear off the counters and make the whole place look clean and neat.

I just hope no one wants to come look at it tomorrow.
