Note that I said, "younger" and not "youngest." That means Micki.
She's been a HUGE help lately. First off, I had an Octoberfest Potluck and she came and helped me prepare everything. When I stupidly stirred the flour straight into the meatball gravy without adding water to the flour first, she held a small little strainer over a bowl and put the entire pan of gravy through the tiny mesh spoonful by spoonful. And she understood my pain when my mother-in-law came in and said in her special you-are-not-good-enough-for-my-son-or-my-grandchildren-you-ignorant-slut kind of way: "But you ALWAYS have to stir the water and flour together before you add it to gravy!"
Then, a couple of days later, Micki came to my house and came up with the perfect way to make Sophie's size 2T costume fit her little 6 month body, then she helped me sew it. How cute are these two?? Especially since each costume only cost $1.50.
When we were done with that, she came and took apart Izzy's old highchair, that we only used pushed up to the table, to mount a tray to it. After we took it apart and put the base of the hardware on it and put it back together we realized that the tray was made to fit a different highchair from Ikea. So she patiently sat with first a Ginsu knife and then a small paring knife, very carefully shaving away bits and chunks of plastic to make it work. Then she snuck and took this gorgeous picture of it:
How cool is that picture?? So anyhow, here's a shout out to McNoodle: THANKS FOR SAVING MY BUTT!! You rock.

Sniff, sniff...I used to be the one who came to save the day...sniff, sniff. :(
Having a family member to save the day is wonderful! Your babies look fantastic in their costumes.
