Let me tell you about that breakfast in bed though...he got up with the kids and took them to McDonald's to pick up breakfast, and left me sleeping. I had in ear plugs so I could sleep late, which I did. I hear them getting up, and I'm back asleep instantly. Next thing I know, my shoulder is being shook roughly and I can hear Chris talking, but I can't understand what he's saying through my ear plugs.
"What??" I hollered, heart pounding. "I can't hear you - I'm wearing ear plugs!" I pulled them out as quickly as I could and saw him walking away. "Look beside you," he said. There sat my breakfast, nicely put on a little tray.
I got up and carried my tray in to eat with my family, though, because breakfast in bed kind of sucks if your all by yourself. And, if you're still a little shaky from a near-heart attack.
The icing on the cake, however, was when he had my back in the argument with his mother, and afterwards told me in admiration, "Now, there's the woman I married!" Thanks, babe, for everything.
I'll leave you with a picture that perfectly sums up why I love being a mom:

Motherhood rocks!
