That's a pretty scary reflection, actually.

In so many ways, Izzy is already such a reflection of me and Chris. Unfortunately, however, not in a good way. Every time I use profanity now, Izzy is able to repeat it to me with amazing enunciation. The little quip he made about Sophie? From the mouth of his father. It's not all bad, though. Today at dinner I reached over and patted his leg, he looked up and smiled at me, then reached back and patted my leg. When Chris and I do something well, Izzy tells us, "Good job!"

And when dinner is over and I dip my finger into the leftover browned butter...

Ouch. Watching him do that made me cringe a little. But browned butter is sooo good! We had pierogies, which is the only thing we have it on. So very delicious. But I really, truly don't want Izzy growing up eating butter with his fingers.

I'll have to work on making sure the next reflection has to do with lettuce instead.
