Happy Fourth of July!!!!

Today, I had the best Fourth of my life: tons of friends and family came up, we swam all day long, grilled out, ate tiny little ice cream cones, then Micki and I went back out and swam for a few more hours, not getting out until we heard fireworks.

We got out of the pool and went up to the sundeck and this is what we got a bird's eye view of:

Izzy slept through it all, but Sophie got up to join us:

She was a little scared of the sounds at first, but then she oohed and aahed over all of them, curled up tight on my lap. They lasted for about a half hour - we had an awesome view of three different sets of fireworks. Incredible. I am a very lucky woman!
