At 8:30 this morning, I slowly came awake. I realized that I was laying on my back with both arms at a 90 degree angle beside me, which made me smile, because it's a position that was favored by both of my babies when they were babies. I opened one eye and saw it was 8:36. I bolted upright and realized I heard nothing but silence. CHRIS TOOK THE KIDS TO GO SEE SANTA, AND DIDN'T WAKE ME UP TO KISS THEM GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know he was trying to be nice, but man. Now I'm missing the little monkeys so much I can't enjoy the peace and quiet. Guess I need to go try harder.
