Handsome devil, isn't he? He still makes my heart all fluttery. Fairly distinct features, easy to recognize, I think.Anyhow, this morning Sophie and I were flipping through a photo album as she identified all the people in the pictures. It's a lot of fun to see her confuse people, like my sister Micki and her daughter Maddie, or herself and Maddie, but generally she's pretty good.
Sure, he was a few pounds heavier than he is now, and yes, we'd bleached his hair blonde while being goofy one afternoon (mine was purple at the time), but still it's fairly easy to tell who he is, right? But Sophie had no idea. First she guessed him as Stephen (who is now 6), then as her Uncle Johnny.

Then we came to this picture, of Chris holding our nephew Stephen when he was a baby.
