Today we witnessed history in the making. What an awesome feeling. After my girls and I dropped Izzy off at school, we curled up in a chair together to watch President Barack Obama's Inauguration. We stood together when he took the stage and we bowed our heads to recite the Lord's Prayer in unison. I shocked myself by bursting into happy tears at the end of the President's Oath, upon the final handshake when it became a REALITY. We stood and sang the National Anthem, and we clapped and cheered, and clapped and cheered some more.
I am so happy and so optimistic for our country.
It's a wonderful time to be alive!
