Earlier today I picked Suzi up and saw that she had a bouncy ball in her hand, a choking hazard that the kids have a million of, and that she manages to find (and lose when I see her with one) just about every day.
She followed my glance down to her hand, then she looked back up at me and very slowly moved her hand with the ball to the other side of her body, where she wedged the ball between her elbow and her side.
Then she crossed her arms and looked back up defiantly, sure that she'd safely hidden the ball from my thieving eyes.
