She was delighted.
Until I told her to wear her red shoes rather than her pink boots. After 10 minutes of screaming and yelling (mostly from Suzi), I convinced her, mostly, that I would make her change her shirt if she didn't wear the red shoes.
Now you all know that I normally don't give a hoot what they wear. But it just so happened that all these reds and blues together made me smile. So there.
Then I grab a little red coat for her, and slide her arms into it. She takes one look at it and says, "This not cool, mommy!"
"Not cool?!" I say in mock dismay, thinking to myself that she was actually right, not a "cool" jacket at all...but a very cute one, and one that kept the whole red/blue thing going.
"Well, let's do this," I told her. "Let me take your picture and I'll ask people if they think this is a cool jacket or not, and we'll see what they have to say about it."
(Seriously, have you ever seen a cuter disgusted face EVER??)
So, internet, it's up to you to declare whether or not this adorable little red jacket is cool enough for Suzi Diva to wear again. Her fashion destiny lies in your comments or emails!!
