Eaaaassseeeee!

We taught Izzy the magic word to get him anything he wants. We were at Rio Grande, our favorite Mexican restaurant, and Izzy was acting like a maniac and started begging my little sister, Crystal, for ice. I know, I'm headed for the mommy of the year award, but I told her to go ahead and give it to him to shut him up. It was pretty little cubes, I swear.

She said, "Say please." Then Chris and I chimed in with the same. Lo and behold, he did it. But his method is all his own: he stretches a crazy smile across his face, squinches his eyes up, and says, "Eaaaassseeeee!" Completely cracked us up. Next day my other sister, Micki, was feeding him and my smiley little nephew, Noah, blueberries and while she was giving Noah one, Izzy started, of his own accord, to go "Eaaaassseeeee!" She said, "Say bite." "No," I told her, "He's saying please!" I was so amazed that he remembered this on his own.

Now he says that every time he wants a bite of anything. Cracks us up every single time. I've got to get a picture of that expression. Kid is growing up so dang fast it hurts...
