I'm pooped.

Izzy is still not sleeping. I just got him down for a nap after an hour and a half of trying. What finally worked was to walk out, shut the door, and let him cry for me for about five minutes. I opened the door, he pulled it the rest of the way back, turned and got in his bed, after retrieving his paci. I sat in the chair, and in five minutes he was out. Breaks my heart when he does this. It's the same thing at bedtime. And it's getting longer all the time. Then, once he is asleep, he only takes naps for about half an hour, and at night, he's running down the hall to our bed usually somewhere between midnight and 2 a.m., carrying his baby in the Snoopy playsuit by the leg. So now there's pregnant me, Chris, Izzy, Snoopy baby, and our cat every night. Plus the dogs usually jump up there sometime during the night too, even though they aren't allowed. We really need a king-size bed. And to win the lottery.

Plus now my house smells like garlic. I think my fresh bulbs have turned not so fresh. I put them inside a ziploc bag, but it's not helping. Guess I'll have to throw them out, which is fine, since I usually just keep it until it goes bad anyhow.

It's a dreary, rainy day but it started off good. Chris gags his self EVERY morning when he's brushing the back of his tongue, and it's not a normal gag. Sounds more like someone is shoving a pipe down his throat and he's screaming for help. Brought me wide awake this morning, so I decided to go ahead and get up so I could work on the computer for a while before Izzy awoke. Worked out great. I got my resume done finally, and it sucks, but I don't want a job right now anyhow, and I got a brochure and a press release done for this food bank I volunteer with.

Stupid computer kept crashing when I tried to make them a .pdf file, so I had to e-mail the file to the secretary at my old job and ask her to print it off. Problem there is that she can't understand what I'm trying to get her to do. Her doing it is not a problem at all, since the group is my old job's community service project. I'm just involved still because I've been involved with them since I was 10 years old, and no one else from work ever does anything with them anyhow.

But since my productive start it's all gone downhill. I've yelled at Izzy all morning, who has truly been a little demon but still didn't deserve his rough morning either, and my book order hasn't arrived here yet, so that doesn't help either. But I'll get off the computer now and see if I can't get a little housework done before my little spawn wakes up.
