Quick update.

First off, send all your positive thoughts to my dad. Not only is he legally blind in his left eye now, he found out Monday that he has diabetes, and Thurday he got fired. New governor is cleaning house. He's filing a grievance next week that really should get him reinstated, because the only reason they gave him is that he wasn't doing inspections like they wanted him to. Problem is that they never gave him instructions in the first place, or even a warning. He needs lots and lots of good thoughts. Gracias.

Now to a cute Izzy story. We got him a really cute set of dog slippers. Our real dogs, however, love them, and think that they are chew toys. So we put them on him the other night and the dogs went nuts biting at the dog heads on the slippers. Izzy was cracking up until they knocked him over - gently - on his butt, then Gammie got a hold of the slipper and dragged him all the way down the hall way and into the bedroom! Chris and I were laughing so hard we couldn't help. We did run and get the camera and try to get them to recreate the scene, but the dogs wouldn't cooperate. Divas.
