Why is technology against me???

So I returned the wrist cuff. There's just no way that my blood pressure was staying that low. I bought a cool automatic/digital arm cuff, and my bp tonight was 153/96. High, yes, but normal for me right now.

I also went looking online for the stupid bassinet I want - this one - and Target keeps telling me it's out of stock right now. Burns my butt up. It's cheap and it has every feature I want. The next closest thing I can find easily is one at Wal-Mart, which is offensive already, I know, but even worse it has Pooh bear print. I can't stand commercial prints. Even WORSE, is that Value City had one that was way prettier, way earlier in this pregnancy, for only like $45 (!!!!) that I didn't get because it also had Pooh bear print on it. Of course, I was working then, so the thought of paying way more for a bassinet didn't bother me. NOW IT DOES. We're not hurting - YET - and I'd like to keep it that way. This bites.

I've been wasting time until my bank finished its nightly updating and I can check and see if we're still solvent after all my shopping today. Then, I'm going to call a credit card company and ask them to take off a late charge. I forgot to mail the bill in time for it to get there on time, but it was only like a day late, and this is the first time, so they probably will do it. Then, I'll finally get to bed. I'm so freaking tired, but Izzy is a maniac now, so I have to get this stuff done at night if it's going to get done at all.

The next day....

So now it's actually the next day - Blogger was having problems last night, as was the bank's system, and the credit card company was closed. I've got through to the bank now, and we've got everything recorded (woo-hoo!) and now Blogger seems to be working, so next on my list is the groveling. Wish me luck....

Stupid Blogger hasn't worked at all this morning, so here goes about the tenth try. I did get my charge taken off the credit card (woo-hoo!) but unfortunately, that's been the highlight of my day. Off to make little man some lunch. Here's to hoping Blogger will work now.
