Why won't someone buy our house?

I am an impatient woman. I don't want to move, but since I have to, then I want to get a move on. Hee hee funny me.

We've had like 15 people look at our house now! It's been about a month so I don't know if that's good or bad, or whether it's unusual to go this long without offers. I have SO MUCH to pack that I just can't get started. Ugh.

Since I haven't mentioned it in a while, damn I love these kids! Izzy is the funniest kid I've ever met. And so very loving and sweet. He seems to have left the terrible two's behind and he's just a joy to be around most of the time now. Sophie is a total delight, too. She's so scrumptious and lovable. Her long eyelashes make my knees weak.

At dinner tonight, she was fussy, so I laid her in my arm while I was eating. Her eyelids were fluttering a bit, and she was just completely relaxed. Serene, in fact. She kept taking her hand and reaching up towards my neck and then just stroking my skin. I thought my heart might burst.

I felt the same when Chris brought Izzy up to Baltimore. It was 1:30 in the morning when they got there, and Izzy was asleep. We opened the door, and Chris just handed him over to me. It had been five days since I'd seen him, and it felt soo good to have him in my arms again. He woke up when Chris passed him to me and then he held me so tight. I sat down and was nuzzling his sweet little head and he lifted it up from my chest and just stared at me with those big baby blues. I swear it was like he was trying to decide if I was really there, like he'd just missed me terribly. It was truly such a connection. Then he just held onto me for a long while. Again, my heart was trying to spring from my chest.
