Sophie had her first taste of food tonight! Organic sweet potatoes, given to her by Izzy. She LOVED them! She's a little bit picky, maybe, or maybe she just really likes to make horrible faces when she tries something new. That's why we started her on sweet potatoes, rather than green beans like we did with Izzy.
Of course, I just read an article today that said starting a kid on veggies wouldn't lead to a greater like for them, and that starting on fruit is just fine. Maybe.
But we started Izzy on green beans and he LOVES them still. I'll keep you posted on what we've done to Sophie by starting her on a sweet-flavored veggie. See what I was talking about (below) with the repercussions of my choices??
