My determined baby.

We've been trying to teach Sophie to put herself back to sleep on her own. That's a nice way of saying we've been letting her CIO - Cry it out. Which is another nice way of saying we let her scream her head off till she falls asleep. We check on her about every 10 minutes or so, lay her back down, then leave the room again.

She'd been wailing then all was quiet. She does go to sleep on her own most of the time, usually with only one or two checks. I went in after about 15 minutes, maybe half an hour, to put up some of her laundry and this is what I found:



She is one tough little cookie. And, yes, I laid her down after I took the picture. But I had to get this shot. Baby girl gave all she had in her protest. That's my baby!
