As wild and as rambunctious as Izzy is, he is truly a sweet and loving child as well. Case in point: We went to the Dollar Store the other night and I told Izzy he had two dollars to spend, so he could pick out two items. He ran in and was having a grand time looking at all the Easter things when he saw a bunch of fake flowers, grabbed them up, and ran over to present them to Sophie. Made my heart smile. I got my camera out to take a picture of her with her flowers when she dropped them. In the picture below, you can see Izzy's hand is a little blurry, where he's just handed the flowers back to Sophie:

Now, I'm not sure he was planning on spending one of his two dollars on his sister, because truthfully, I don't think he's old enough to completely understand that if he spent one on her, he'd only have one for himself. But he was so sweet giving the pretty flowers to his baby sister. And so sweet to forget about them by the time we got to the check-outs, so we didn't have to bring fake flowers in the house.
He's a good boy.
