Is rest right around the corner??

SOPHIE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!! This is truly an epic moment in my life. We went to the park yesterday with my parents(see pics below!) and apparently wore both kids out because they went to bed sooo easy with no fussing at all. Izzy didn't get up a single time until morning, which is so rare. Normally we are putting him back in bed five times, and shutting his door until he goes to sleep. Sophie woke up at 11:30 and I went ahead and nursed her. I've cut out night feedings, but I figured it was before midnight, so I'd cave. She went right back to sleep and slept until 7 a.m.!! Chris then put her in our bed and she dozed back off until Izzy woke up a little while later.

Tonight they went to the park with Chris and his parents while I helped clean my aunt's house, and I guess they wore themselves out again! They were both very sleepy at 8:00 or so, which still feels like 7 pm, and again, they both went to sleep without a single peep!

I probably shouldn't have typed this out yet. Probably jinxing myself right this very minute. But eventually all bad sleepers sleep through the night, right???

Anyways, it could be the park, which is cool because now that it's getting warmer we'll be going more often, but we're also trying something new with Sophie (pretty sure the park did indeed wear Izzy out). I put a sound machine in her room and I set it to the white noise. We've also left her door pushed to the last two nights. I was opening it when we went to bed, but I really think that just the sound of us rolling over wakes her up. So I checked on her and I pulled the door back so that there was just a tiny crack.

Whatever the reason, I am so happy. I've got everything crossed in hopes that this becomes a permanent habit for my Sophie-bug!!
