My super fun girl.

I was unloading Suzi after we got back from picking Sophie up from preschool, when I noticed some wildflowers (i.e. weeds) beside the driveway.

"Hey Sophie," I hollered, "Want to come over here and pick some flowers?"

She ran around the van and bent down to pick a few. I wished I'd had the camera with me right at that moment - her sundress is a big girl's shirt tied around her waist, and with the sun streaming through the blonde highlights in her hair, she looked the epitome of summertime.

As we strode together up the walk to the house, Sophie said, "I think you is a cool mommy." I smiled at her and said, "I think you're a cool three year old." She took a few more steps then exclaimed, "That was super, super fun, mom!"

That's the magic of kids. Having a three year old does, indeed, make pulling weeds super, super fun.
