Today my dad retires!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is going to give him the time to travel and focus on his hobbies. The man loves to make stuff, from furniture to crafts with his grandchildren, and now he'll have the time to tackle all of it. I'm especially excited because now he and mom won't have to rush home when they've come here to stay with us, and I know the kids are going to love that as well.
Plus, dad's super handy around the house and I have a list a mile long waiting for him!! Just kidding, Dad. I haven't actually written it down yet.
Congratulations again, Dad - I hope your retirement is even more enjoyable than you're expecting it to be!!!
