It takes us about an hour to get lunch done. Last night I bought Izzy some blueberries and blackberries, which the kid prefers to candy, so I first washed them up and gave him some. He stood by me clamoring for berries the whole time I was cleaning them, so I kept popping them in his mouth. I took the emtpy containers to the trash can and I said, "Izzy, go sit down and I'll bring you some more berries." PLOP. Right where he stood. Cracked me up, the little berry eater. So I took him in the dining room and put him in his chair then I got him a plate of berries to munch on while I made sandwiches.
Today we had pimento spread sandwiches, a new one for Izzy. He liked the first bite or two, but then it became all-out war. I got him to eat a couple more bits by feeding him off the edge of the butter knife I'd use to make them. Parenting at it's finest. I then got a spoon and fed him two more bites minus the bread, but that's was it. Maybe the berries filled him up.

That is cute- I am impressed that he tried the pimento bread.
