Sunday evening we went to Krogers and as we passed the pharmacy Izzy started screaming that he wanted a sucker (lollipop). Took us three or four aisles and Izzy repeating it about a thousand times before we realized what he was saying. Chris, who was carrying Sophie, had a sucker in his pocket that he took out, unwrapped and handed to Izzy. Sophie FREAKED out. Screaming and crying.
Chris hot-footed it back to the pharmacy and got Sophie her own sucker. They came back to me and Izzy, and there she was, thrilled to death, with her little tiny hand wrapped around the sucker she was holding in her mouth. All by herself. I told Chris she had never done that before and he told me that when he opened it, she grabbed it out of his hand and stuck it in her mouth like she'd been eating them forever.
It's after midnight now, so Sophie is officially 11 months old. Unbelievable. She still seems like a tiny baby to us, but then she does something like grab the phone off of the cradle, hold it up to her ear (rather awkwardly though) and say, "Hiii!"
It's been a great 11 months.

11 months old and a sucker? JP hasn't had one of those yet. Hmmmm, maybe mommy has been babying him too much, lol. Happy 11 months to mommy and Sophie.
